El Guapo, of former The Red Phantom and Battle Axe Rampage glory, is a San Jose, California based instrumental experimental rock and metal band. Drawing influences from all genres of music, El Guapo pride themselves on technical guitar riffs, hard hitting drum beats, and eerie ambient sounds mixed with abstract audio samples to create a high energy and unique sound. Their songs are inspired by a variety of media including horror movies, comic books, infamous serial killers, and organized crime.
